Take a Look Inside!

The New Station provides for room and ease of operations that the department did not have in the old station.  A spacious apparatus bay with a state of the art vehicle ventilation system, which allows for safer breathing air by responding firefighters.  Harmful diesel exhaust is ventilated out of the building by this new system.

In the truck bay area there is also a laundry room and decontamination area, which will allow for easier clean-up of blood borne pathogens and firefighters turnout gear.  By having a professional washer-extractor firefighters will be allowed to clean their gear more often saving the department money in replacement costs of expensive turnout gear, which costs nearly $1200 per firefighter.

The station has a radio room which is adjacent to the apparatus bay and attached to a spacious board room.  This board room doubles as the Village of Bath Emergency Operations Center (EOC) in the event of a Village Disaster. (Ice Storm, Snow Storm or Severe Power Outage)   Near this area is an open office complex that will house various committee workstations.

The station has a complete commercial kitchen with banquet hall.

The hall is approximately 2200 sq. ft. and will house nearly 150 people for banquets, dinners and community events.

This hall can be rented by the public by contacting the department at rental@bathfire.org
