All of the photo's in this section were taken from an album started on March 24, 1952. This album is part of the archive and history collection of the Bath Volunteer Fire Department.

This photo shows former chief, Charles Betty in front, with chief Edgar Erway on left and paid fireman Raymond Wilcox seated behind the wheel. No specifics are known about the engine shown in the photo, however the picture was taken outside the original station on Liberty St., which was on the left hand side of the current municipal building.

This photo shows preparations for the Steuben County Volunteer Fireman's Convention in July of 1950. Shown from L-R is Chester Castle, Chief Edger Erway, and Clyde Robinson

This fire in 1952, was at the Lloyd Ormsby tenant house on the Cameron Rd. Shown in the photo are (L-R) Bill Longwell, Bob Wilcox, and Don Castle

This photo taken in 1952 shows one of the first Air Packs to be delivered to the
Bath Fire Department. In the photo from L-R are Gerald Stable, Ralph
Robinson and Edwin Erway.
This next photo is the first fire using the new air packs. It was taken October 7, 1952. The fire was at the Castrilla residence on West William Street in the Village. Shown in the photo are firefighters Bill Longwell, Bob Wilcox, Quigley along with Officer Tom Dillon from the Bath Police Department.

This Photo taken in November 24, 1953 is a photo of the Wagner
Hotel Fire. The Wagner Hotel was located in the building across the street
from the current Municipal Building.
